The CSK Self-Drilling Screw with Wings (Timber to Steel) is a versatile screw, engineered for optimal drilling through Timber into Steel.
1500-hour Ruspert Coating ensures resistance to moisture contained in timber and the outside environment.
With the addition of protruding wings below the thread, this screw is specially designed to create cavities in timber to maintain strength even when the timber expands and contracts.
After the screw travels through the timber, the TEK drill point helps to penetrate the steel, eliminating the need for pre-drilling.
Once the wings hit steel they snap off so that the screw thread engages with the material.
