The Clamex P-14/10 Flexus is a detachable furniture connector that is installed into a workpiece in seconds using the Zeta P2 biscuit joiner. Thanks to the minimalist 6 mm opening, the Clamex P-14/10 Flexus is powerfully connected and released using a lever in a similar way to a cam connector. Developed as a supplement to the Clamex P-14, the Clamex P-14/10 Flexus has the same advantages. These include excellent aesthetics due to the almost completely concealed joints, the small access hole, mitre connections at various angles and the powerfully connected, yet detachable connectors. In contrast to the Clamex P-14, the Clamex P-14/10 Flexus does not have rigid positioning pins. The positioning pins are flexible and have an incline on both sides. This means that a workpiece can be inserted between two sides, locked in place and removed again. This function makes it possible to insert normal shelves or inclined shelves after the furniture has already been assembled. Since the positioning pins lock in place when pushed in, the shelf is held in the correct position until the workpieces are connected with a hex key. If a complex piece of furniture is connected to various vertical and horizontal workpieces, the order in which the pieces of furniture are installed does not matter. The positioning pins also provide anti-twist protection if only one connector can be used, such as in a base. This eliminates the need for a straightening dowel, as is usual for cam connectors.
